Oracle Application Introduction

Hello Friends,

Welcome to Oracle Application Block.

I have created this Block to share a Knowledge of oracle applications with you all. This Block will help you in getting the latest update on different ERP systems like SAP, Oracle application etc. Including the New products, Job Requirements, market trend, etc

Oracle application is a mainstream ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system provided by Oracle Cooperation Ltd as a package product. This product is available in market with different versions currently like Oracle apps 11.5.9 , Oracle apps 11.5.10 , Oracle apps R12 etc

Overall resource expertise for oracle apps implementation can be broadly divided into the three major segments are :-

  1. Oracle Application Functional Consultant.
  2. Oracle Application Technical Consultant.
  3. Oracle Application Database administrator.

In functional terms it cover all business aspects like Order to Cash , Procure to Pay (P2P) etc. Along with the different functional modules like Order Management, Inventory Management , General ledger, Purchase order etc

Now its becoming more robust with the new products getting merged with Oracle application suite. Example would be Demantra, SAS etc

Now if you look into the technical terms you can divide the oracle application into 3 main segments
  1. Database
  2. Middle ware ( Application server)
  3. Front End.
That's why its called a three tier architecture.
